How do I book with you?
I prefer to have you fill out the contact form located at the top right corner. I am also happy to receive phone calls, texts, emails, and DMs through social media, whatever works for you!
How many photos will I receive?
Portrait sessions will receive a minimum of 35 digital images that are hand edited and lightly retouched by yours truly (I do not believe in outsourcing any of my editing). Weddings and elopement are custom tailored to your needs and quoted per request.
What rights will I have to the images?
You will be given access to a personal print release and have the rights to reprint and post to social media or use on your own website (I so appreciate it when you all tag me!). However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the consent of Kayla Charlis Photography.
Do you travel?
ABSOLUTELY! I love traveling! Especially if you are taking me somewhere epic to get some insane photos! I jokingly say I am willing to go anywhere but North Korea. It’s funny but also true. I’ve been out of the country quite a few times and since I have a current passport, I would love for you to bring me along. Depending on where we are jetting off to, there may be some travel fees, but that can be discussed in more detail at a later date!
What time of day should we expect to be ready for photos?
Almost all of my sessions are scheduled before sunset. This is the absolute best light to compliment everything you've been preparing for. On the rare occasion I will also shoot at sunrise (usually in the hotter summer months).
Do you deliver unedited photos?
Unfortunately RAW or unedited photos do not represent the work I do and therefore I do not deliver them.
Per my contract I also do not allow any editing or filters to be used on the edited photos I deliver. I work very hard to create amazing photos for my clients and hope my art speaks for itself :)
